Bitso starts operations in Argentina
One of the largest cryptocurrency platforms in Latin America is working to continue with the expansion process in the region
One of the first exchange platforms in Latin America, Bitso, began operations in Argentina.
Today, the cryptocurrency exchange is undergoing significant growth in remittance services from the United States to Mexico.
The arrival to the south of the continent means good news to Argentines, who will now have another channel to access bitcoins and other digital assets.
One of the founders of Bitso, Pablo González, assured that the decision to disembark in Argentina is due to the fact that this country has one of the most important cryptocurrency communities in the world.
“Bitso is made up of a team of more than 100 people in 14 cities around the world,” Gonzalez added.
“In other countries we detect a use more linked to speculation with currencies; but in Argentina, we see that this function will be tied with the reserve of value and other use cases, such as trade and immediate international transfers”, he said.
