TurboTax launches new tool for taxe payment
The application will allow to calculate the cryptographic taxes in a simple way and will allow users to save time
TurboTax online is the United States tax preparation program which recently signed an alliance with CoinsTax, LLC to incorporate the calculation of cryptocurrency taxes into its services.
The United States Internal Revenue Service has just opened the filing and tax return season and TurboTax is launching this new section for the taxation of digital currencies.
The service will allow users to import commercial data directly from exchanges such as Coinbase, Gemini and Poloniex. The new section will be available only to those users who bought the 2018 premier version and higher.
Experts say the new tool will make filing crypto taxes much easier and will allow customers to save time. Reports of capital gains and income can be downloaded or uploaded directly to Form 1040 Schedule D.
