The Venezuelan cryptocurrency petro suffered an increase in its value to four thousand 362.30 sovereign bolivars, according to the president of the National Association of Cryptocurrencies, José Ángel Álvarez.
The manager assured that this increase of Bs.S 762.3 was originated thanks to the “appreciation of the value of the petro in bolivars”.
On the other hand, Álvarez indicated that this week there has been a record in terms of transactions for the acquisition promoted by the Venezuelan State.
“There is a record number of transactions for today, of more than 300, which is a record, is a massive acquisition of petros by Venezuelans”, he said.
The petro has become a benchmark for many transactions in the country, from salaries to fees for important transactions have been assessed based on the cryptocurrency.
