A mining farm with eight thousand 100 miners, which is one of the largest in the world, was opened last week in Washington, the United States.
During the opening event was present the director of operations of Bitmain in North America, Jeff Stearns, who made the presentation to the public of the facilities in front of approximately 50 people.
Also present were Lisa Parks, Executive Director of the Port of Douglas County and Evan Wendlandt, Business Development Manager for the Department of Commerce of the State of Washington.
The person in charge for the American region assured that this space is the most modern that Bitmain has built to date. Each building has a system of adjustable blinds that allow to regulate the internal temperature levels, as it is known, Antimers in operation generate large amount of heat.
For the installation of the farm, the team invested approximately 20 million dollars in the construction of five buildings, each of which has one thousand 620 Antminers S9s models, which complete a total of eight thousand 100 equipment.
