Facebook seeks the merging of Whatsapp, Instagram and Messenger

Mark Zuckerberg confirmed this project, which would only contemplate the unification of the messaging platform for these three networks

The directors of the social network Facebook would be looking for ways to unify this platform with WhatsApp and Instagram. It was confirmed by the creator of this network, Mark Zuckerberg, during the presentation of the results that has obtained his great franchise in recent years.

Although the word “union” is involved in this project, it is expected that the three platforms continue to operate individually.

The only one that would be unified would be the messaging infrastructure. This would result in easier and safer communication for users, since the developers team would look for ways to include extremely secure encryption such as the one of WhatsApp.

The project is in its first phase, and probably people will have to wait until 2020 to enjoy this update.

During the presentation of results, it was known that in 2018 the social network reched more than 2.600 million people if the figures of WhatsApp and Instagram are taken into account as well.
