The oldest and most popular question-and-answer platform on the Internet, Yahoo Answers, announced that it will stop working as of May 4th.
Since 2005, this space has allowed millions of people to ask questions, receive and answer questions in order to resolve doubts and concerns.
Yahoo’s announcement highlights that from May 4th, 2021, users will be redirected to the home page of this platform. It is also planned that all questions and answers will disappear, and will not be accessible to the public.
The closure will not be abrupt. In the first stage the users will no longer be able to launch new questions as of April 20. Subsequently, the closing will proceed and users will be able to request a copy of their data until June 30. After June 30, there will be no way for users to recover the platform data.
