Word will add artificial intelligence to improve writing

Microsoft announced that it will soon add artificial intelligence within the Word tool, in order to help users improve their texts.

The name of this feature will be “Ideas“, which will offer all kinds of help and suggestions for the preparation of documents.

The company said that this tool will go far beyond a spell checker, since it will be able to help users write more concise and readable texts, thanks to automatic learning.

With Ideas, Word may suggest, among other things, that a phrase that has been long and complex be rewritten; likewise, it will provide indications to write more inclusive texts.

Microsoft also points out that Ideas will include a “Word Designer” that will allow designing different parts of a document, including tables.
