Twitter new feature shows the number of subscribers to a profile
The social network introduced a new tool for your profile, which indicates the number of accounts that have subscribed
Twitter introduced a new indicator in the user profile that indicates the number of accounts that have been subscribed and which ones they are, since they are included in a list similar to that of Followers and Following.
The social network included Super Follows in September 2021, paid subscriptions that allow followers to financially support content creators and access different publications exclusively or in advance.
Super Follows is a tool that is still in its early stages and the purchase of subscriptions is available globally on Twitter for iOS and Android, as well as on the web version of the platform for the United States, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.
The current CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk, announced in mid-April that Subscriptions would replace Super Follows and that it would remain as a tool for followers who interact the most with the people they follow to help them monetize their content.
When someone offers Subscriptions, their followers can sign up to access additional Tweets created especially for them. They carry badges on all the responses they send to the person they subscribe to, so that they can be highlighted in this way in a conversation, as collected by the Twitter Help Center.
It has been precisely in Musk’s account where a new indicator has been sighted that collects the number of subscribers that the tycoon registers on the social network. This is displayed on his profile, along with the accounts he follows and the followers he collects.
Once you click on the ‘Subscribers’ tab, next to which the number of people who have subscribed to your profile appears, a list opens in which these users appear, with their name and the description they include in their profile, as well as the ‘Follow’ button.
