Twitter imposes limits on messages viewed per day

The verified Twitter accounts will be able to view 6,000 messages per day: the unverified 600 and the new unverified only 300 messages

A new change in the social network Twitter was announced this Saturday. It refers to a limitation on the number of messages that users can view daily and which now remains as follows: verified accounts 6,000 messages, unverified 600 messages and new unverified 300 messages.

The users of the platform, who stopped daily to read or consult all the messages of interest to them, will now have to stick to the amount imposed by Elon Musk, owner of Twitter.

Reactions to this announcement are still awaited. However, it is known that Twitter soon plans to expand the message display limits, which at another time would be 8,000 messages viewed daily for users of verified accounts, 800 for unverified accounts and 400 for new unverified accounts.

According to Musk, with the implementation of these restrictions they seek to reduce the extreme extraction of data and the manipulation of the system. In any case, it is important to note that when the viewing limit is reached, the user will be able to access their account, but instead of the posting lane, a message will appear saying “Something went wrong” or “You have exceeded the limit”.

The fact stands out that a few hours after the announcement, the number of messages to be viewed daily was set by Musk at 10,000, 1,000 and 500 for verified accounts, unverified accounts and new unverified accounts, respectively.
