Trump turned himself in to US justice in Georgia

The former US president went to the Fulton County Jail, where he later posted $200,000 bail

The former president of the United States Donald Trump arrived at the Fulton County jail, in the city of Atlanta, where he has turned himself in before the authorities for the case that is investigating him for his alleged involvement in a criminal network that sought to reverse the results of the 2020 elections.

Trump has landed at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta (Georgia), showing a thumbs up to the media, while he got off his private plane to get into a car that has taken him to prison.

The ex-president, who accepted a bail of $200,000, will formalize the process before the prison as well as the other 18 co-defendants in the plot, who have been turning themselves in progressively before this Friday, when the term given by the Prosecutor’s Office expires.

In one of his latest messages on the Truth Social social network, Trump has stated that he will be arrested by a “radical left district attorney“, referring to Fani Willis, who is leading the case, at the same time that he has defended, as he has done other times, that the elections were rigged.
