National Assembly appointed new rectors of the CNE

This Thursday the new rectors of the National Electoral Council of Venezuela were announced, appointed by the National Assembly

The new rectors of the National Electoral Council of Venezuela (CNE in Spanish), for the period 2023-2030, were appointed and sworn on this Thursday by the National Assembly.

During the body’s session, the applications were analyzed and Elvis Amoroso, Rosalba Gil, Carlos Quintero, Aimee Nogal and Juan Carlos Delpino were selected as main rectors.

For their part, the ten substitute rectors are Leonel Párica, Gustavo Vizcaino, Francisco Garcés, Antonieta De Stefano, Tulio Ramírez, Ana Julia Niño, Conrado Pérez, Aura Hernández Moreno, Himab Saab Saab and Fabio Zavarce Padrón.

Jorge Rodríguez, president of the National Assembly, pointed out: “This National Electoral Council is the product of the broadest consensus that has occurred in the recent history of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.”
