Threads will be available in the European Union on December 14

The Threads social network, launched by Meta in July of this year only in the United States, will be available in the European Union from this Thursday, December 14

The European Union will finally welcome Meta’s Threads social network this Wednesday 14. It was available in the United States since last July. EU users were eagerly waiting for this platform.

Threads refers to the well-known chain messages of the social network X, where users can talk about a topic in several concatenated publications.

As you may remember, to enjoy Threads you only need to log in with your Instagram account, thus maintaining the same username. Posts or publications made on this social network have a maximum length of 500 characters, and allow you to insert images, links and videos of up to 5 minutes in length. They can share them through stories to reach the Instagram audience.

Meta had been working on the necessary adjustments to EU regulations so that Threads could reach member countries without violating the laws.

In its initial launch, the social network achieved 10 million users in record time, now they are waiting on the European stage, regarding which they have speculated about 40 million users. For many, the arrival of Threads in Europe is like a Christmas gift.
