Despite the recent launch of Threads, the new social network from Meta Corporation, a large part of the cryptocurrency community remains loyal to Twitter.
According to NFT Gators, approximately 70 % of cryptocurrency companies have yet to create an account on Threads, despite the fact that it has been over a week since the launch of the platform.
Although Threads has experienced impressive growth, surpassing 100 million users in just one week, the crypto community has shown some skepticism towards this new platform.
Twitter has long been the platform of choice for cryptocurrency enthusiasts, spawning highly specialized subgroups within this ecosystem. According to NFT Gators, Twitter users post around 563,000 tweets a week using the #Bitcoin hashtag and 268,000 using the #Ethereum hashtag.
These figures demonstrate the strong presence and participation of the crypto community on Twitter, which could explain the loyalty towards this platform.
