Paraguayan economy will present strong growth

The Leaco group will show a Gross Domestic Product growth of 1.2% for the first half of this year

The Latin American Consultation Alliance (Laeco in Spanish) presented a report that indicated that Paraguay’s economy will undergo an important growth process during this 2020.

As indicated, the economy of the region will expand 4.2%. Experts say that Paraguay will become a leader after having spent 2019 with zero growth.

Laeco mentioned that during the past period, the Latin country was affected by the poor performance in the primary and industrial sector, which then led to others being affected.

The second semester of 2019 represented an important change for the country, the measures applied by the government made things improve and the point of having great predictions for this year was reached.

For this first semester, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is expected to be of 1.2% after a projected fall of 0.7%
