Panasonic revenue grew 3%

The industrial appliance and electronic components company Panasonic recorded an attributed net profit of 178,148 million yen in the first nine months of its fiscal year, ended in December, which is equivalent to an increase of 3% compared to the same period of the year Previous, as reported by the company on Monday.

Net billing between April and December contracted 5%, to 5.755 billion yen. Of that figure, 2.755 billion came from Japan, 2% less, while revenues from abroad were contracted by 9%, up to 3 billion yen.

By business segments, the income of the home appliances division stood at 2.059 billion yen, down 3.7%. While the area of ​​life solutions grew 2.5%, up to 1,505 billion yen.

The automobile components branch fell 0.7%, to 1,113 trillion yen, followed by industrial solutions, which was reduced by 10%, to 984.1 billion yen and connected solutions contracted 5.6%, up to 770.3 billion yen.

The cost of products sold was 4.109 trillion yen, 6.2% less, while the item of sales, general and administrative expenses decreased 2.4%, to 1.394 trillion yen.
