Oil price could hit $300
The Russian deputy prime minister assured that the price of oil will be greatly affected by the vetoes applied by the United States and other nations
Given the ban by the United States on the import of oil and gas from Russia, the latter warned that the price of crude oil could reach 300 dollars per barrel.
This was indicated by the Russian Deputy Prime Minister, Alexander Nóvak, who gave details about the figures that the nation manages towards other countries regarding the mobilization of crude oil.
“Russia is an important supplier of oil to Europe. The region consumes about 500 million tons of oil and Russia supplies about 30 %, that is, 150 million tons, and 80 million tons of petrochemical products,” said the minister.
US President Joe Biden this week banned the import of gas and oil from Russia, in response to actions the nation has taken against Ukraine in recent weeks.
