The latest update to the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch has received support for the SmartThings Find platform, which will make it easier to locate in case of loss.

The R840XXU1BUA8 update for Galaxy Watch 3 is 74.02MB in size and introduces a series of new features to this Samsung smartwatch, both in the functions of the Samsung Health app and in Hand Wash.

One of the novelties is the support for SmartThings Find, the South Korean company’s platform designed to find Galaxy devices connected through Bluetooth low energy (BLE) and ultra-wideband technologies.

With this novelty, as reported in XDA Developers, Galaxy Watch 3 joins the devices that in case of loss, allow its location more easily, even with indications.

The service is already being used in South Korea, India and the United States and several users who have benefited from the new tool to locate their watch in case of loss or theft.
