Nintendo has announced the withdrawal of support for logging into a user account through Facebook and Twitter, a change that will take effect on October 25.
Users who have linked their Nintendo Account to one they have on Facebook or Twitter to speed up login will need to change this system and choose to enter an email and password instead.
This change will take effect on October 25, when Nintendo will only allow you to create an account or log in with a Google or Apple account, withdrawing support for Facebook and Twitter, as reported in a statement on its website.
The company has apologized to users who have been using their accounts on both social networks to log in to Nintendo, who will also not be able to maintain the link to participate in missions that allow them to earn My Nintendo points.
