Municipal elections in Venezuela will be held on July 27
The National Electoral Council of Venezuela announced that municipal elections have been scheduled for July 27. Nominations will begin next Monday, June 9
Venezuela will hold municipal elections on July 27, according to the announcement made by the president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Elvis Amoroso, on Wednesday, June 4.
He added that for these elections, nominations for mayoral and council candidates across the country will begin on Monday, June 9, and end on the 13th.
The National Electoral Board approved the schedule for the municipal elections. Amoroso added that the campaign for this election will run from July 11 to 24.
In the Indigenous states, this election will take place on August 3, one week after the renewal of mayoral elections in Venezuela’s 335 municipalities and the renewal of Municipal Council members.
