With this, it is wanted that startups can establish themselves faster and that their growth is personalized as well.

The current president of Mastercard Europe, Mark Barnett, noted that “in recent years, European startups have driven the global transition to digital economies. The development of new technologies has marked our lives in many ways. Whether in payments with the telephone, access to financing or in electronic commerce, Fintech companies have become the pillar of our modern payment infrastructure.”

On the other hand, he stressed that Mastercard “is already the preferred partner of European fintech companies”, and that thanks to this new initiative, the next step will be taken to train them so that they can better meet their goals.
