Marvel to produce two Avengers movies with the Russo brothers

Much has been said in recent years about Marvel and new installments of The Avengers. Now the return of the Russo brothers is confirmed in the production of two new installments

Marvel Entertainment plays a powerful card in the film industry by announcing that it has once again recruited the Russo brothers for two Avengers productions.

The entertainment company seems to have found a way out of the current crisis with a clear strategy. The rumors have been left behind when the Russos’ address is confirmed.

From a commercial point of view, both are needed. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “the Russos would direct not one, but two new Avengers movies. That is, the still untitled 2026 film (which was titled ‘The Kang Dinasty’ until problems with Jonathan Majors forced a change of course) and the 2027 ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’, with which the Saga of the MCU Multiverse would conclude.”

Marvel’s alliance with the Russos is understandable, knowing the successes that the producers have allowed the company to achieve, in addition to being the means of its survival, since it is going through this year without releases beyond Deadpool and Wolverine.
