Manuel Macedo is the new CEO for Honeywell Latin America

The American multinational of diversified technology, with a presence in the industrial and aerospace sector, has a new representative

The new director for Latin America, Manuel Macedo, will head Honeywell, one of the most recognized companies in the world exceeding 13,000 employees and 25 facilities. This specialist in diversified technology will be based in Mexico City where the growth of its four business divisions will be strengthened: aerospace, construction technologies, high performance materials and technologies, and productivity and safety solutions.

With extensive experience in the world of banking, chemical products, consumer and construction adhesives, Macedo expressed his enthusiasm in taking over the reins of this multinational that also possesses so much talent and technology. The company, with a very prosperous projection in the future to make visible a wide production of integrated solutions of electricity and gas maters, will be able to support the growing demand in the region as well as the support to Latin American customers.

The executive director, through a statement issued by the company said: “The growth of Latin America, its rapid urbanization, infrastructure development, energy needs, as well as its challenges in terms of sustainability, productivity and security constitute an incredible opportunity for Honeywell.”

In 2019, the multinational reaffirmed its commitment to the region by opening the first Aviation Service and Maintenance Center in Brazil and expanding one of its five Global Research and Development Centers, located in Mexico City. An advanced manufacturing center for Smart Energy solutions was also inaugurated in Ezeiza, Argentina, in the second quarter of 2019.

The firm has more than 110,000 employees worldwide and combines physical products with software for customers in more than 80 countries.
