Maduro met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Caracas

The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, held a meeting this Tuesday at the Miraflores Palace, in Caracas, with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, to analyze issues of interest to both governments.
Strategic cooperation between both nations was addressed by both officials. In his social network account X, Maduro described the meeting as “fruitful and excellent.”
Through a statement, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that Maduro and Lavrov addressed “the key issues of Russian-Venezuelan cooperation and the further development of strategic partnership relations between both nations.”
Lavrov previously met about the bilateral relationship with his Venezuelan counterpart Yván Gil and the vice president, Delcy Rodríguez.
