The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, made changes in ministers in the portfolios of Labor, Women, Communes and National Commerce.

The announcement, made this Saturday, February 3, announced the names of those who now become part of the National Executive.

It was learned that Alexis Corredor was named the new Minister of Labor, replacing Francisco Torrealba.

Guy Vernaez, who comes from the Federal Government Council, takes over as Minister of Communes, which was in charge of Jorge Arreaza.

For her part, Dheliz Álvarez “will be the new Minister of Popular Power for Women and Gender Equality,” according to the Venezuelan president.

Finally, Maduro announced that Luis Antonio Villegas Ramírez assumes the leadership of the Ministry of Popular Power for National Commerce.

Through his account on the social network X, the president not only announced the changes in the cabinet but also thanked the outgoing ministers for their work.
