Maduro announces easing of quarantine in Venezuela
The Venezuelan president indicated that he already has planned "all the necessary elements to adjust the economic life of the country"
President Nicolás Maduro announced that as of June 1st, the “quarantine flexibilization plan” will begin to be implemented in Venezuela.
According to the president, “he has already analyzed all the necessary elements to adjust the economic life of the country, as well as the industrial apparatus with all its productive engines. The industrial apparatus is already working, everything can be done if we do it well and in an organized way”.
“We are going to prepare everything so that on Monday the new plan to relax the new supervised and relative normality will begin,” Maduro indicated on the national network.
He stressed that one of the main efforts will be carried out by the transport sector, which has 1,300 new units, according to Maduro.
For her part, the Vice President of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, explained that last Tuesday the Presidential Commission held a meeting with private sectors of the Venezuelan economy, where the new normality has been evaluated and discussed in the context of the pandemic.
