Joe Biden considered too old for a second term

US citizens consider current President Joe Biden too old to run for a second term in the 2024 election

In 2024 the presidential elections will be held in the United States. Looking ahead to this process, Americans seem to agree that Joe Biden, the current president, is too old to run for a second term.

His physical and mental abilities appear to have diminished. This is reflected in the series of setbacks, oversights and falls that Biden has experienced in public events. A situation that contrasts with the apparent vitality of the controversial Donald Trump.

Trump currently appears to have a large majority in terms of political supporters who support his presidential bid next year.

Biden, 80, and Trump, currently 77, are the focus of attention inside and outside the United States. The difference in terms of physical and mental abilities seems remarkable.

According to a poll conducted by The Associated Press and the NORC Center on August 14, it concluded that not only 89 % of Republicans believe that Biden is too old for another four years in office. “But 69 % of Democrats think so too. That view is shared across various age groups, not just among the young, though older Democrats are somewhat supportive of his 2024 re-election bids.”

Additionally, “about two-thirds of American adults support an age limit for presidential and congressional candidates and a mandatory retirement age for judges.”
