Jack Daniel’s will enter the metaverse

The famous brand of American whiskey, Jack Daniel’s, is fine-tuning details to enter the world of the metaverse.
This was known through the application for trademarks and patents, which was published by the lawyer specializing in the area, Michael Kondoudis.
According to a filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Jack Daniel’s may be interested in opening a line of virtual spirits in the form of NFTs and other types of collectible digital assets.
The American brand wants the authentication of “beverages, bar items, clothing and consumer goods using non-fungible tokens (NFT). It also refers to the sale of virtual goods, digital media and related software” for use in virtual worlds in line”.
For now, Jack Daniel’s has not made an official statement on the matter, but this request to the UPSTO makes it clear that the company wants to venture directly into the world of cryptocurrencies to offer new experiences to its consumers.
