During a speech this Thursday, March 3, Nicolás Maduro announced the increase in the minimum wage to half a petro, which is equivalent to 126.32 bolívares, according to the price presented to date by the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) of said cryptocurrency.

“The minimum wage is the most penetrating wound, the most festering because it depends on national income. We have created a plan, which I submit to your debate, to go to a recovery of the minimum wage, of all salary tables and collective contracts, “said the National Executive.

The social bonds that are loaded through the Patria System will also be paid, as Maduro explained.

Likewise, he explained that if the initial proposal is approved, the payment corresponding to the food voucher will be adjusted to 45 bolívares, which today is equivalent to $10.
