Google launches a Pinterest-like app with Artificial Intelligence

The new release is based on machine learning that helps users find preferred content

The Google Area 120 team, a working group that creates experimental products, has launched Keen, a Pinterest-like application that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and is based on machine learning to help users find content preferably.

According to the co-founder of the app, CJ Adams, on the Medium blogging platform, users decide “what they want to spend more time on and then select the content of the web and the people they trust to help make that happen.”

Users of the application will be able to create different keens on any topic, such as “baking delicious bread at home” or “starting an indoor garden”. Users will then be able to select the content they like best from the search, share their collection with other users, or find new content based on what they’ve saved, according to Adams.

Keens can be public or private, so users can control the topics they want to share and even add people who can contribute to the collection. “Keen is not intended to be a place to spend endless hours browsing. It is a site for your interests: a place to grow them, share them with loved ones, and find things that will help make this life count, “Adams added.
