Google develops an app to record calls

The development team wants to incorporate this function within the call that the user makes or receives

Google is developing a new feature that will allow users to record phone calls from Android mobiles that you have started testing in the Google Phone application.

This Wednesday, the company extended version 44 of its Telephone application on Google Play. In this update a new function has been discovered that allows the user to record the phone call from the phone’s own app. Before this change, third-party applications were needed.

With the function, the phone app shows a ‘Record’ button whenever a call is made or received. Once the button icon is pressed, it changes and indicates that you are recording the conversation, and if the user presses the button again the recording stops.

This function collects all calls recorded in the log. Recordings can be shared and exported using an audio file ‘wav’. Finally, the user can see a complete transcript of the recorded conversation.

According to the developer who has gained access to this function, the first time call recording is activated, Google informs the user that the he is the legal responsible for the recordings.
