The Minister of Tourism, Alí Padrón, assured that flights from Russia to the island of Margarita will increase.
«We have planned a visit to the city of Moscow, because we have instructions from President Nicolás Maduro, to continue increasing flights. Not only from Russia-Moscow to Margarita Island, but also Saint Petersburg and Kazan,” Padrón stated in an interview for Unión Radio.
The minister assured that during January 2024, at least 300 thousand tourists entered the country to enjoy the beaches.
On the other hand, Padrón foresees that visits and commerce will increase before the Holy Week season.
