According to the Venezuelan-Colombian Chamber of Economic Integration, Cavecol, in January 2024, exports from Venezuela to Colombia increased by 107 %, representing USD 13.9 million

Exports from Venezuela to Colombia increased in January of this year by 107 %, according to the Venezuelan-Colombian Chamber of Economic Integration (Cavecol).

According to the organization, “binational trade reached 64.1 million dollars” in the first month of the year, compared to the 6.7 million dollars registered during the same period in 2023.

The Cavecol report indicates that of the total recorded, “400,000 dollars were exported by land through Paraguachón (Zulia), while 3.1 million dollars were exported through Táchira.”

Cavecol explained that “among the main products exported to the neighboring country are cast iron and steel (3.1 million dollars), fertilizers (3 million dollars), organic chemicals (1.4 million dollars), fuel and oils ($0.9 million) and inorganic chemicals ($0.1 million).”
