Exodus crypto wallet enters the New York Stock Exchange

Exodus Crypto Wallet Debuts Today on the New York Stock Exchange

The Exodus cryptocurrency wallet goes public today on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The platform indicated that its shares will also be tokenized on the Algorand blockchain.

The wallet’s debut on the exchange was announced Monday in a statement from Exodus Movement, the company that develops the eponymous self-custody cryptocurrency wallet.

Commenting on this important step, JP Richardson, co-founder and CEO of Exodus, stated: “Joining NYSE American marks an important milestone in our journey. Trading on the NYSE American will allow Exodus to create greater long-term value for our shareholders by increasing our presence within the investment community and, in turn, increasing liquidity.”

The company will also issue shares in the form of digital tokens on the Algorand (ALGO) blockchain, making the company the first to take this leap.

In this regard, Richardson has shown his enthusiasm, stressing that “this process will benefit investors by making it faster and easier to trade shares.”
