Dubai to host the biggest decentralized internet cloud network

Two companies have teamed up to create the world's largest decentralized internet cloud network and it will be hosted in Dubai for the benefit of 170 households

The companies Paradise Hills, dedicated to real estate and ThreeFold, a blockchain developer, formed an alliance to create the largest decentralized Internet cloud network in the world powered by blockchain, destined for the approximately 170 households of Paradise Hill in Dubai and will be known as the “first neighborhood cloud network” in the world.

The main objective of the business alliance between these companies is to provide residents, organizations, developers and government agencies with an “unprecedented sovereign cloud infrastructure”, guaranteeing its “security and high availability for the storage and processing of local data”.

According to the information provided, all private home owners will have a dedicated server, called 3Nodel, capable of providing “edge computing and Internet storage to run decentralized applications and services.”

Dubai: autonomous and intelligent metropolis

The initiative of these companies will make it possible to execute the first development of a global smart and autonomous city. Bringing decentralized internet infrastructure to property owners enables Dubai to become the first sovereign and smart metropolis in the UAE and the world.

ThreeFold co-founder Adnan Fatayerji explained that this development will be the first pilot test that ThreeFold will run, in a series of initiatives that the company has planned with the aim of spreading the digital horizon in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
