Discord announces new subscription plans
The entertainment company unveiled its new plans, which now consists of Nitro for a value of $2.99
Discord unveiled the latest news on the platform, including a new Activities section and the implementation of a cheaper subscription service than Nitro, which will arrive for $2.99.
Discord currently has two types of experiences. Nitro Classic is free and allows you to use avatars, animated GIFs, Discord tags or emojis, as well as improved transmission quality during streaming, among other features.
The Nitro model, for its part, includes all the advantages of the free version and adds improvements such as higher resolution video quality, two server boosts, the extension of the character limit per message or the possibility of sharing files of up to 1,000 megabytes (MB).
The company indicated that this cheaper plan includes personalized and animated stickers and emojis, new backgrounds, a higher file upload limit and a Nitro profile badge.
This modality will be implemented from this Thursday, October 20. Also, with the release of Nitro Basic, the Nitro Classic plan will no longer be available to new users. Those who already have an account in this free version, on the other hand, will be able to stay in this plan as long as their subscription is active.
