British Parliament will seek an alternative plan to Brexit

When there are 70 days left for the UK to leave the EU, parliamentarians want to evaluate other possibilities because there is still no agreement

With 70 days left for the United Kingdom to leave the European Union definitively, the British Parliament would have initiated a series of consultations to chart a different path in the face of the uncertainty that exists at the moment.

The oposition party leader, Jeremy Corbyn, was in charge of presenting the motion after defeating May in the elections in front of the parliament. They only expect the acceptance of agreements on moving forward, even though there is concern that on March 29 the United Kingdom will abandon the European Union.

Many experts in the area assure that if the Brexit is produced without a prior agreement this would cause chaos due to a possible shortage of food and an economic recession that would be catastrophic.

At the time Theresa May assured that “the faith of the people in the democratic process and their policies would suffer catastrophic damages”.

For its part, Ireland is preparing a bill to present it in Parliament, which would come in case “no agreement is reached”.
