BlizzCon returns to face-to-face format in November

The BlizzCon conference, for the gaming community, returns in a face-to-face format on November 3 and 4 of this year

Blizzard has announced the return of its conference for the BlizzCon player community in person, which will be held on November 3 and 4 of this year, and in which events and announcements of updates and news from the company are expected.

Four years after its last face-to-face event, the video game development company has set a date for its next BlizzCon conference, which will be held, as usual, at the Anaheim Convention Center (Los Angeles, United States).

Following the crisis resulting from the coronavirus pandemic, Blizzard canceled the celebration of its annual event in 2020 and announced a digital format for the celebration in 2021 adopting the name BlizzConline. However, in 2022 the company chose not to hold its conference due to the reporting of cases of harassment and discrimination against female employees within the company.

Now, the video game developer intends to return to normality with the return of BlizzCon in person, on November 3 and 4 of this year, in an event in which it is expected to announce news and updates about its latest important titles, like Diablo or Overwatch.

Thus, Blizzard has encouraged its community of players to participate in the event, either to “hang out with friends you can only see online” or to “find out what’s next” for the developer’s universes. However, they have also reported that they will share more details about the show “next month”, with data such as ticket sales, cosplay and other “competition details”.

“It is the community that has always made this event so special, and we are looking forward to seeing you all again,” the video game developer said in a statement on its website.
