Biden spoke with Javier Milei about bilateral relations

The presidents of the United States, Joe Biden, and of Argentina, Javier Milei, addressed the relationship between both nations and ways to strengthen it during a telephone conversation this Wednesday

During a telephone conversation this Wednesday between Javier Milei, the newly elected new president of Argentina, and Joe Biden, for the United States, both leaders addressed the relationship between the two countries and ways to strengthen it.

Through a statement, the White House announced the conversation, in which Biden congratulated Milei on his election as the new president of Argentina and also stressed the importance of strengthening the ties that unite both countries.

The Argentine president’s spokesperson told CNN that the conversation was “very good,” adding that they also talked about maintaining cooperation in the areas of food security and energy.

The same news network has already reported that Joe Biden will not attend the inauguration of Javier Milei, on December 10, due to other obligations on his agenda. However, this does not tarnish the relations between both nations, which Milei praised so much in his campaign.

The newly elected president of Argentina considers the United States a valuable ally, with which he will continue working on economic issues, human rights, climate change, among others.
