Starting this Monday, December 29, Bancamiga opens its San Felipe branch to the public, the first in the state of Yaracuy and the 51st in the country.
At this office, Bancamiga will offer Venezuelans the opportunity to open accounts in bolivars and foreign currency, receive the Bancamiga Mastercard Debit Card, and acquire modern Point of Sale terminals, the only ones on the market that offer payment and recharge services, according to a statement from the financial institution.
Due to its geographic location, the San Felipe branch will serve the populations of the municipalities of Independencia, Veroes, Manuel Monge, Nirgua, and Bolívar.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bancamiga, José Simón Elarba, stated that, as San Felipe is the institution’s first branch in the state, Bancamiga will seek to attract new clients in a region with high agricultural and industrial potential.
“Given the area’s climate, agriculture is one of the state’s main economic sectors. Livestock farming is also significant. Bancamiga is coming to this state to become an ally in the region’s economic growth,” he explained.
Although its first branch in the state opens on December 29, Bancamiga has maintained a strong connection with the people of Yaracuy for years through its operations and the MRW Non-Bank Correspondent (located on Calle 12 between 8 and 9), which have already helped it acquire clients in the region.
Along with its agricultural, livestock, and industrial sectors, Yaracuy is a leading state for religious tourism and gastronomy. For hiking enthusiasts, it boasts beautiful natural landscapes such as those found in Yurubí National Park, Cerro María Lionza, and Hacienda La Cocorota, among others.
The San Felipe branch is located on Avenida Libertador, at the intersection with Calle 6, in the Hermanos Domingues building, first floor, in the municipality of San Felipe, state of Yaracuy.
