With the aim of complying with current regulations and increasing connections, the Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, met with representatives of the national airlines at the headquarters of the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC).

All parties analyzed “compliance with the regulations that govern public air transport service operators to guarantee operational safety, both nationally and internationally.”
Other topics that were also analyzed are flight planning, coordination of schedules and routes, as well as cargo and passenger management, efficiency and safety of air operations.
Representatives of Conviasa, Aeropostal Alas de Venezuela, Láser Airlines, Albatros, Avior Airlines, Estelar, Rutaca, Turpial Airlines, Ravsa and Vensecar, attended this meeting where “it was also agreed to establish monitoring and supervision mechanisms to verify compliance with regulations by the service providing companies, in order to guarantee transparency and the proper functioning of the sector.”
