Acer introduces SpatialLabs View Pro stereoscopic display

The technology company Acer will launch the 27-inch SpatialLabs View Pro stereoscopic screen with an immersive 3D field of view on the market in 2024

Acer has presented the SpatialLabs stereoscopic 3D screen, which comes with a size of 27 inches and does not require glasses or specialized accessories to view the content.

The company has commented that this device is complemented by the new Acer Imerse Audio system, as well as development tools focused on three-dimensional design, according to a press release.

Acer SpatialLabs View Pro (ASV27-2P) is a 2-inch, 68.5 cm stereoscopic display capable of delivering content in 4K UHD quality. This panel uses an eye-tracking module to track the position and movement of users in real time, even in dimly lit environments.

The panel offers two modes (2D and 3D) as well as a 160Hz refresh rate and 160Hz brightness. It also includes a removable cover that improves perceived color accuracy and reduces distractions.

This product also integrates the Acer Immerse Audio system for an immersive virtual headphone experience, which also uses artificial intelligence (AI) and directional acoustic signal transmissions ‘beamforming’.

Acer has also commented that this design-focused screen is compatible with rendering engines such as Unreal and Unity. It also includes the Acer Steam VR stereoscopic solution, which benefits Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (RX) developers.

Likewise, it is compatible with Acer’s OpenXR and has an ErgoStand design compatible with VESA mounts. In terms of connectivity, it has an HDMI 2.1 port, USB-C, DP 2.0 and Dual USB Type-A.

Acer SpatialLabs View Pro will be available in the first quarter of 2024, although at the moment its price and availability are unknown, which will vary depending on the region in which it is sold.
