Snapchat will integrate ChatGPT

The messaging application announced the launch of My AI, which will contain the latest version of ChatGPT

Messaging app Snapchat announced the launch of My AI, a new chatbot running the latest version of OpenAI’s ChatGPT technology that it has customized for its platform.

ChatGPT is a text-conversation-trained technology that is based on the GPT 3.5 language model and has the ability to generate and link concepts and ideas, as well as to remember conversations.

The social network has now said that it has made an experimental feature called My AI, which runs ChatGPT, available to Snapchat+ subscribers and will launch this week. It’s a technology that can “recommend gift ideas, plan a hiking trip or suggest dinner recipes.”

Snapchat stated that you can give it a name and customize the chat wallpaper and have warned that “like all AI chatbots, My AI is prone to hallucinations and can be tricked into saying anything”.

On the other hand, the company has indicated that all conversations with this AI will be stored and can be reviewed to improve the product experience, so it has recommended not to share secrets with her “or trust her advice.”
