The Snapchat social network for sharing fleeting photos and videos has arrived at the Microsoft Store for the Windows 10 operating system and its most recent version, Windows 11.
Users can enjoy the platform through a Progressive Web App (PWA). It has not been developed for specific operating systems, such as iOS, Android or Windows. In this case, the PWA runs in “a browser tab like a web page, but not quite a web page.”
As with other progressive web apps, the one for Snapchat has support for both icons and notifications on the home screen. Also, you can adopt these features because it works through Chromium-based Microsoft Edge.
Among the specifications for the download, it is established that the computer must have 1.4 MB, have Windows 10 or Windows 11, in addition to being downloaded exclusively from the Microsoft Store for free.
