Windows 11 streamlines OneDrive integration

Microsoft has released improvements that will now allow Windows 11 to notify the user when OneDrive is running low on space

Microsoft recently announced the culmination of a series of improvements to Windows 11 that it had been working on to improve OneDrive integration.

Advances in the operating system point to better user interaction. Specifically, “the mapping of online storage has been simplified as if it were an internal unit of the system, and it has continued with the improvement of the tools for managing the service from the operating point.”

In the future, after the innovations, and as reviewed by Softpedia, Microsoft will allow Windows 11 to inform the user to the extent that their OneDrive storage is running out.

This is a feature that is included in the preview version of Windows 11, “already available to insiders.” So, its implementation in the final version of the operating system could be just around the corner.

At first glance, this step can be considered insignificant, or of little importance, particularly in the case of users who do not use the cloud to store data, they will appreciate it. However, in the case of users “who rely on it on a regular basis, either as the main storage space, as backup, or for all those files that they want to be able to access from any device at any time, that Windows 11 showing more information about it can be very useful.”
