HP introduces integrated, scalable printing solutions for remote work

The company is oriented towards the search for alternatives that accelerate the transition to the cloud

Scalable solutions for remote printer fleet management include HP Advance, a new integrated platform to manage HP Access Control, HP Access Control Scan, HP Mobile Connector and HP Direct Print from a single control panel.

The company also announced that the HP Command Center, a tool for cloud application deployment and management, can now also enable fleet onboarding, saving time and freeing up IT resources, as reported in a release.

The HP Workpath ecosystem, which enables workers to connect to cloud-based platforms directly from the MFP, has a new go-to-market model that simplifies access to third-party applications. By having the order and payment process processed through the HP Command Center, you have access to a wider range of applications centrally.

HP also offers free 90-day trials for capabilities that help minimize contact with printers. In this sense, HP contactless printing allows workers to use their ID card to pick up a print job without having to touch the control panel.

The company is also expanding HP Roam to LaserJet Pro devices, making it easy to print on the go from a mobile device to any HP Roam-enabled printer. And it has enhanced its HP SecurePrint service, a flexible, cloud-native solution that releases documents only to authorized users.

For its part, HP SecurePrint now supports all types of networks, including traditional networks behind a ‘firewall’, as well as serverless printing environments, helping customers to simplify IT infrastructures.

HP Instant Ink, which has seven million users, has also become a common option for telecommuters from home, as the company points out. This subscription service automatically detects when a customer is running out of ink and sends new cartridges through the mail without leaving home.
