French official involved on selling of State secrets
Several sources assure that the person, presumed employee of the DGSI, carried out the business through the dark web and with bitcoins, reason why he should have been arrested
According to different sources in France. an official of that country was allegedly taken into police custody for selling State secrets.
The person would have made the deal through the dark web and used the bitcoin cryptocurrency as method of payment. This official worked in the General Directorate of Internal Security (DGSI) French
The agent worked with members of organized crime and specialists in the field of Economics. However there is no record that relates them to terrorist groups.
The members of another unit dedicated to the fight against crime in the country, the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ), were the ones who discovered the leaks of content, and later they used the agent’s personal identifier to track their online activities.
