Rakuten will accept cryptocurrencies
The new update of the application will allow canceling purchases through digital assets
The Rakuten company, through its mobile application Rakuten Pay, will accept payments in cryptocurrencies starting in March.
The Japanese firm said so, adding that “all payment solutions integrated into a platform.”
For some time, the Amazon of Japan was in the process of reorganizing its business in order to improve reliability and decision making.
Although the presentation of the new update of Rakuten Pay does not mention explicitly that it will support the payment with cryptocurrencies, they do indicate that “all payment solutions” will be admitted in the platform.
In 2015 Rakuten showed great interest in entering fully into the world of cryptocurrencies, then they will begin to take bitcoin into account as a payment method through the website.
