EToro acquires a new app for cryptocurrency tracking

The Delta portfolio application tracks 6,000 different cryptocurrencies and tokens in 180 exchanges

The Israeli trading platform, eToro, acquired the crypto wallet management application called Delta, capable of tracking 6,000 cryptocurrencies and tokens in 180 different exchanges. Although the exact amount of the acquisition is unknown, the CTech technology publication reported that the agreement would have been worth approximately USD 5 million.

Meanwhile, the executive director of eToroX, Doron Rosenblum, informed that they will integrate Delta with the eToroX platform, allowing users to operate within the application. It is also expected that the blockchain subsidiary will also expand Delta’s assets beyond cryptocurrencies.

EToro development expands

The recent acquisition of Delta represents the second acquisition of eToro this year. In March, this platform acquired the firm contract development firm Firmo and assured its staff would subsequently act as an internal innovation team, working on the tokenization of their assets.

Last month, the Israeli platform announced the launch of an analytical tool based on tracking people’s perception of cryptocurrencies by analyzing conversations.

The tool directly related to digital currency and the processing of 850 million tweets would perform its functions through machine learning and natural language processing technology.
