Abra wallet adds native support for ethereum
The startup will now allow its customers to receive and send digital money with this currency directly in their wallets
This week, the portfolio of digital and exchange house Abra added a new support for cryptocurrency ethereum, as specified in its official blog.
The users of this startup will be able to receive and send digital money in advance from now on in ethereum directly to Abra’s wallets.
Until recently, Abra only supported this cryptocurrency as a “synthetic asset“. That is, as an investment mechanism for the creation of collateral contracts in digital assets.
Abra CEO Bill Barhydt said support for ethereum opens the way for the company to launch native support for tokens based on the ERCO-20 standard.
Barhydt also indicated that if the digital wallet service “gains traction” like others already positioned in the market it would still have a long way to go in the remittance services sector.
