WhatsApp launches sticker editor for Android

WhatsApp users will be able to edit stickers on Android with the platform's new function

Thanks to the launch of a new sticker editor, WhatsApp for Android users will be able to add text or draw on those they have saved or receive by message.

According to the WaBetaInfo portal, “the company is already allowing users who are part of the WhatsApp beta program to create and customize the popular stickers without having to leave the application.”

In this sense, people have the possibility of editing the stickers that they have saved in favorites or downloaded in the app. “The editor allows us to add a sticker or image on top of the one we are editing, include text or draw using the characteristic WhatsApp tool.”

Of course, to activate the function you must access a chat and click on the stickers icon. Then, you must hold down on what you want to edit and click. And in order for the edited sticker to be saved, it is necessary to send it.

The platform update for Android also offers the option to create a sticker from an image received through chat. In that case, you must access the multimedia file, click on the three dots at the top, then go to the Create sticker option to edit it to your liking.

It is important to clarify that the new function is available to users with the WhatsApp beta for Android.
